Hamstrings

Tonight I learned just how tight my hamstrings are. The hamstring occupies the posterior of the body of the femur. In human anatomy, it refers to one of the tendons that make up the borders of the space behind the knee. In modern anatomical contexts, the term collectively refers to the tendons of the semitendinosus, the semimembranosus, and the biceps femoris.
